Julie Gordon White brings 20 years of corporate sales and marketing, small business operations and business brokerage
experience to her position as Principal and Broker of Record for BlueKey Business Brokerage M&A. During her career with
ITT Sheraton Hotels, Julie spent 5 years as Director of Sales & Marketing at the 525 room Sheraton at Fisherman's Wharf,
and 3 years in National Sales representing over 400 hotels world-wide to Fortune 500 clients based in San Francisco, CA.
Julie received two Bachelor of Arts degrees from University of California at Davis in 1987.
As principal of BlueKey Business Brokerage M&A, Julie is able to combine her knowledge and passion for deal making with
her love of being an entrepreneur, as she professionally executes the sale and acquisition of small to medium sized
businesses from packaging to closing.
In Julie's free time, she trains for and runs half marathons, and spends most Saturdays as a soccer mom cheering with her
husband for their 2 forwards and their nationally ranked goalkeeper.

Tom brings nearly twenty years of entrepreneurial and consulting experience to Blue Key Business Brokerage
and M&A. His focus on practical results comes from helping clients discover technology-based business
opportunities as well as creating two startups - HowZabout.com and ConceptLabs.net. Prior to these
efforts, he worked at two global management consultancies: Ernst & Young and Accenture. He has
also held a number of research- and operations- jobs at Seybold Computing, Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC),
Fidelity Investments, and Irving Trust Bank.
Tom's Doctoral training in Social Anthropology gives him a unique perspective on changing patterns of
business and technology and he continues to speak in numerous professional forums. As an observer of
technology trends, Tom has been quoted in The NewYork Times, Wired, Atlantic Monthly, Harper's, and the
World Economic Forum. He writes about blogs, wikis and other collaborative technologies at www.wikisquared.com.
Tom's undergraduate and graduate background includes McGill University (Montreal, Canada), University of Edinburgh
(Scotland) and New York University.
Mike Nova, Associate

Mike Nova brings over 20 years of restaurant/bar experience to BlueKey BM&A. He sold his first venture, a catering company
in Los Angeles, at age 23 and has continued to work in the challenging food service industry as a manager, corporate trainer
and owner ever since.
Mike's experience includes the management of restaurants, bars and clubs in the Honolulu area where he was involved with
every aspect of operations from payroll and staffing to cost analysis and bookkeeping.
As the bar manager and corporate trainer for Roy Yamagucchi and Roy's Restaurant's, Mike developed the fine dining
bar/cocktail program to be implemented in Roy's new location in San Francisco as well as future locations in a joint
venture with Outback Steakhouse.
Recently, Mike sold the Mexican cafe he owned and operated for five years. Creating his restaurant from the ground up, He
not only developed, designed and built his own kitchen and dining room but was also solely responsible for menu development
and food costing as well as staffing, interior design, logo development and marketing.
Mike brings his extensive and diverse background in the restaurant industry, his personal experience as a restaurant owner
and his intimate knowledge of restaurant sales to the BlueKey team.
Mike is also an avid surfer and independent filmmaker.

Jim Rusconi brings to BlueKey 15 years of wide-ranging business experience including sales, account management, consumer
affairs and project management.
Prior to joining BlueKey, Jim was an account manager for an international electronic commerce firm. He specialized in
selling IBM Global Network services and supply chain management solutions to retail industry vendors throughout the
United States. He has also worked in consumer affairs for a multi-national food conglomerate.
Jim received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He is also a former member of
the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves.
Jim prides himself on his no-nonsense, results oriented style combining aggressive marketing with excellent client service.
During his free time Jim enjoys doing a variety of family activities with his wife and two young boys.

Phil Dowell has over 20 years of experience in business and industry. Prior to BlueKey, he was the Principal of Capstone
Business Services, a professional business intermediary in Orange County, California.
Phil's experience includes engineering, operations, and sales and marketing in major corporations, including Rockwell
International, Intel Corporation, Oracle, and The Boeing Company. He also has extensive experience with start-up
organizations. Phil's industry experience spans the aerospace, high tech, retail, and consumer packaged goods
industries. At Oracle Corporation, Phil was an Industry Director covering the Western US and Asia-Pacific Regions
for the Consumer Package Goods Division sales organization. Phil has negotiated and closed many complex transactions,
valued from tens of thousands to several million dollars.
As a business broker, Phil has worked with clients in automotive, restaurant, and service businesses. Phil has the sales
skills to market your business, effectively qualify buyers, negotiate the best offer, and ensure that the transaction
closes efficiently.
Phil has a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University, and an MBA from the University of
California, Irvine.

Ronald K. Clausen, Lead Counsel, Clausen Law Group
Ron Clausen's practice focuses on corporate law, with an emphasis on emerging growth companies, venture capital
financing and mergers and acquisitions. Ron takes an entrepreneurial approach to the practice of law, providing
creative solutions to maximize his clients' business opportunities. Prior to going into private practice in 1986,
Ron was general counsel to several national restaurant chains, as well as president of a west coast franchisor. In
only three years, he doubled the client base of this 50-year-old company through acquisitions and strategic
alignments.
Ron is a member of the State Bar of California and the Blue Key National Honor Fraternity and was a charter member in
the Gibson Inn, Phi Delta Phi. He received his B. A. from University of California at Davis in 1968 and earned his J.D.
from the University of California at Davis in 1971.
